A lifelong resident of Southside Virginia, having lived in the Danville/ Pittsylvania County communities, Greg was raised in a Christian home on a tobacco farm and quickly learned the values of honesty, integrity and hard work. These values have been invaluable to his practice of law. Having been educated in the Pittsylvania County public schools and graduating from Virginia Tech in 1994, Greg received his law degree from the Norman A. Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University In 1997. He then returned to his roots and began his private practice of law in his hometown.

In his leisure time he enjoys playing golf and considers himself an all-around sports fan, with a deep love for his alma mater, Virginia Tech. His community Involvement involves positions on the Danville Harvest Jubilee Foundation, God's Storehouse, Carlisle School, and the Southside Virginia Hokie Club boards. His wife, Amy, blessed him with two sons, Anderson and Reece. His greatest joy in life is spending time with his wife and kids, traveling and enjoying time together. Greg and his family attend Mount Hermon Baptist Church and continue to live in, and support their local community.
